Collections & Research

Founded in memory of Torbay resident, storyteller, and oral historian Jacob Bradbury, the Jacob Bradbury Archives & Genealogy Room collects and preserves Torbay’s documentary heritage. We have records and photographs documenting the 400-year history of Torbay, including a variety of genealogy resources available to help with family history research.

Our archival collections are accessible to the public and there is no cost to use the archives. Staff are available to help you with your search and retrieve any records you wish to view. If you're planning a research trip we recommend you contact our archivist in advance of your visit.
